Some say…no, I guess most say, I’m not the average country music artist, in that I truly like getting to know people I meet on tour. Now, that’s not to say that other artist don’t like people, what I mean is, I like to know who they are, I enjoy all the neat personalities, the smiles, laughter, and even emotional tears. You might ask why the laughter and tears. The answer, because it means they let you see a glimpse of their hearts, and that is a beauiful thing, the heart. In my song “In The Eyes” on the “Crossin The Roads” CD it talks about what is in the eyes, but then when it goes to the chorus, it starts with…”Try walking away, when the heart wants to stay.” What is in the eyes, reveals the heart. I differ from some artist who stay away from the heart…I think it is the tell all of us all, it must be, God thought so when he ask for your heart. Isn’t that just a hoot?
