Royal Wade Kimes has finished an historic twelfth album, a milestone in the music business. Without giving anything away, the record promises to garner lots of attention from the industry as well as the fans. Plans for a fall release are being discussed. Royal Wade Kimes’ star is brighter now after a dozen records than when he first began, a very unusual phenomenon, especially for a ‘hat act’ which has typically been replaced with fake worn out caps and t-shirts.
His records have won numerous awards, album of the year, video of the year, best album of the west and he has won awards from both the country music field as well as western music academies. That in turn proves that country and western is still alive, although Kimes music has been tabbed ‘Cowboy Country’ by some in Music City. If one goes back to the beginning and listens to Kimes records they find the answer to his staying power as an outlaw independent. It’s the songs, they’re honest and good. It’s the production, it’s not compressed, the musicians can be heard and it is well done. It’s his velvet voice. . .it is mellow gold. There’s one other aspect to all this, we live in a time when there’s more acts, more music, more entertainment for the buck than ever in the history of the entertainment world. Knowing that, there’s only a few that make it to the place Royal Wade finds himself. He’s the best of the best. The music lover looks for the song, the voice, that person who speaks to the heart, they find that in Royal Wade Kimes. To be the best, an artist has to bring it.
Royal Wade Kimes is the nation’s top Cowboy Country Music Artist and has won numerous cowboy music awards along with being names the “Best LivingWestern Solo Musician” for two thousand eleven, and has appeared on the cover of True West Magazine, Horsemen’s Roundup, and featured in Country Weekly while scoring numerous top ten worldwide hits. He has written songs for Garth Brooks, Diamond Rio, Gene Watson and others as a songwriter, and has been tabbed the 21st century Marty Robbins while touring the country.

Royal Wade Kimes and Wyoming Saddlery ‘Saddle Up’
Posted: 04/03/2012 by theoutlawtimes in Uncategorized
Nashville recording artist Royal Wade Kimes and Wyoming Saddlery consummate endorsement of brands at “Mule Days” in Columbia, TN.
Kimes endorses the saddle company founded in Saxonburg, PA. It’s an impeccable match for Kimes and Wyoming Saddlery as both the saddle maker and Kimes have the same perception about saddles, horses and riders. Kimes believes if you are going to enjoy your horse and ride, then the horse should too, and that’s what sets Wyoming Saddlery apart from the rest. When the rider gets ready for his new saddle, Wyoming Saddlery actually sends the customer the “trees” to select the one that fits the horse before building the saddle. The saddle maker wishes the horse to be as comfortable as the rider. Once the horse is fit, then they fit the rider. The quality in their saddles matches the superiority in Kimes’ vocal and music. He is all-American and the saddles, parts and workmanship are all made in America.
RWK had one comment, “Working with Beverly Graff, owner, and her husband, Bill, has already been a great experience. They’re good people”.
Kimes is very particular and maybe tough to please when it comes to his horses, which tells everyone if RWK is riding it, then it has to be an excellent saddle. Wyoming Saddlery endorses Royal Wade Kimes’ brand because his music is authentic, real and he doesn’t settle. Integrity mixed with hard work builds companies. That is how they see themselves and it’s what they see in Royal Wade Kimes.
Kimes is often compared to Marty Robbins and Johnny Cash. He has performed in front of thousands of fans at fairs, festivals, rodeos, conventions, night clubs, theatres and special venues, including NASCAR events, the historic Grand Ole Opry and Disney World. His numerous country, gospel and western albums, powered by an array of hit singles, have contributed to his lasting popularity. In addition to writing songs for himself, he has written hits for other artists, including Garth Brooks and Diamond Rio.
